This sentence has a double meaning. First, it means that we have no paid positions; everyone who participates does so to help support the organization and their child's experience. The second meaning is that our goal is for every single parent to volunteer in some capacity. No contribution of time is too small.
There are two common misconceptions about volunteering: (1) it requires extensive knowledge of baseball rules, and (2) it requires a big time commitment. Except for coaching and umpiring, no experience or baseball knowledge is required. In addition, volunteer categories have been organized to broaden the base of participation and minimize the time commitments of almost all volunteers. Most volunteer categories have an overall coordinator, a person with oversight over each division, and the appropriate number of assistants to not overwhelm any particular person.
Volunteering/Coaching
As you complete the volunteer form, please consider selecting several categories.
We will consider multiple selections as alternative and not cumulative. Some categories
may be merged or split as needs are refined. National Little League policy now requires
any volunteer who will have repetitive contact with children in a program to consent
to a criminal background check. Magnolia Little League will conduct background checks
for the following volunteer categories: Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Umpire.
Unless you are volunteering for one of these categories, you need not complete the
additional information required to conduct a background check. If you would like

If you can't volunteer please make a donation!
Membership in the Magnolia Little League is more than 500 children. The yearly budget
to support the program approaches $100,000. Registration fees cover only a portion
of the cost to run the program. If you wish to make a donation, to sponsor a team,
support our scholarship program or the operation of the league, please click "I
