Volunteer Opportunities

Magnolia Little League is an all-volunteer organization providing youth baseball and softball programs for Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood. Please consider volunteering as a coach, umpire, scorekeeper or as a Board of Directors Member - the more volunteers we have the better experience our kids have. We provide training for our coaches and umpires - no previous baseball/softball experience is required!

Many companies in our area have programs that match your volunteer time and make payments to organizations such as Magnolia Little League. Please check with your company’s Human Resources team to see if they have a Volunteer Hours Matching program.

As an example, for those of you who work for Microsoft, Magnolia Little League can receive $25 per employee volunteer hour as part of the Microsoft Giving Program. Eligible volunteer examples that qualify for Microsoft Volunteer matching funds include: coaching, umpiring, scorekeeping, field preparation and Magnolia Little League Board service. Several other companies provide similar matching funds - as a non profit, 100% of Magnolia Little League’s budget goes directly into our youth baseball and softball programs!

The money received from Volunteer Matching Programs, such as Microsoft’s, goes to building a stronger Magnolia Little League program. Thank you for your continued support of Magnolia Little League!

If you are interested in volunteering, please select the appropriate volunteer options during the checkout process or reach out to [email protected] for additional information.
